Barry Frazier, President

Barry W. Frazier is a third-generation owner and President of Frazier Roofing & Sheet Metal Co., Inc. Serving under the leadership of his father and grandfather, Barry learned the importance of integrity and hard work early in life. As one of five siblings, an active Eagle Scout, and heir to one of the longest standing small businesses in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Barry also developed a strong commitment to family and community. Barry attributes both his personal and professional success to his pledge to honesty, faith, open communication, and transparency.

After earning his degree in Business Administration from University of Tennessee at Martin in 1979, Barry returned to work full time at Frazier Roofing & Sheet Metal Co. Inc. The following year he was elected as president of the Tennessee Association of Roofing Contractors (TARC) and again in 2010-2011. In 2001 Barry proudly took ownership of the company and assumed the role of President of Frazier Roofing. 

           Barry is a lifelong resident of Dyersburg, Tennessee, a devout member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church, a dedicated supporter of Dyersburg State Community College, Dyer County School Athletics, and many other local charities and social causes. In his leisure, Barry is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling with his wife of 23 years, Julie Frazier. Barry is also the proud father of two daughters, one grandson and one granddaughter. 

Jay Wells, Senior Estimator

Jay Wells began his roofing career working as a laborer in the summer of 1989. He worked one summer before joining the military. In the military, he attended the Marine School of Engineering at Courthouse Bay, North Carolina, where he was taught the fundamentals of building construction. After his discharge from the Marines, he attended Dyersburg State Community College working his summer breaks as a roofer for Frazier Roofing and Sheet Metal Co., Inc. In April of 1996, he was hired full time.

Jay has attended many training seminars and schools during his time with the company. He is a graduate of the Roof Engineered Management Systems provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He has completed Roof Technology and Science and Rooftop Quality Assurance provided by the Roof Consultants Institute.
